Senior Data Scientist Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Commercial Tech team, focusing on Ad Platforms and Privacy.

This role is crucial in optimizing ad execution and delivery through predictive analytics. The ideal candidate will analyze key advertising metrics to create models that provide recommendations for ad configurations, enhancing viewability, CTR, and revenue outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ad delivery data and understand the journey from ad calls to execution
• Identify inefficiencies in ad execution
• Develop a predictive model to recommend optimal ad configurations based on key metrics such as viewability, CTR, and revenue impact
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
• Deliver a Proof of Concept within 3 months showcasing the model's effectiveness
• Integrate machine learning models for optimization and recommendation systems
• Translate complex data insights into business-friendly recommendations
• Work independently to drive research, roadmap, and actual AI/ML adoption in the ad tech area
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure timely delivery of PoC within specified timelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business
• 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or predictive modeling, ideally in AdTech
• Competency in Python, R, SQL
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Looker and Tableau
• Understanding of machine learning, predictive algorithms, tools and techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

• Experience with privacy-compliant ad targeting and measurement
• Previous experience in Advertising Technology, understanding ad execution workflows
• Knowledge of programmatic advertising and real-time bidding (RTB)
• Experience with using HuggingFace models
