Bread & Pasta Prep Cook – Castell’s Restaurant (Brooklyn, NY)
Castell’s is seeking a dedicated Bread & Pasta Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a restaurant committed to quality, tradition, and craft.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 5 years of experience in bread and/or pasta production in a professional kitchen.
Passion for artisan techniques, precision, and consistency.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced prep environment.
A desire to learn fresh cheese-making from our team — or existing experience is a plus.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and respect for the product.
Responsibilities:
Daily prep of doughs and pasta shapes according to house recipes.
Maintain a clean and organized station.
Collaborate with chefs and support the team with other prep tasks as needed.
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
Schedule: Full-time, early morning prep shifts, with potential flexibility.
Location: Castell’s, Gravesend, Brooklyn.
