Job Description

Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government.

Investment Analyst

In this role you will perform rigorous quantitative analysis of investment opportunities across the semiconductor ecosystem, providing data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.

Every day you will build complex financial models, analyze market data, and conduct detailed research while helping evaluate opportunities that advance U.S. semiconductor innovation.

The Investment Analyst role represents a unique opportunity to impact America's semiconductor future through the NSTC Innovation Fund. This strategic investment vehicle aims to accelerate the commercialization of breakthrough semiconductor technologies by providing crucial early-stage capital and attracting follow-on private investment. Working alongside experienced venture professionals, you'll conduct detailed quantitative analysis that helps identify, evaluate, and support promising innovations across the semiconductor value chain - from chip design and manufacturing to advanced packaging and testing. Your analysis will directly influence investment decisions that strengthen domestic semiconductor capabilities and create new market opportunities, while helping establish the U.S. as a premier destination for semiconductor venture capital.
