GATE STAFF ATTENDANT

SEASONAL – SUMMER/FALL 2025

The Fairfield Beach Club in Fairfield, CT is looking for Gate Staff Attendants to join our team for the remainder of the club season! This is a seasonal position for the summer of 2024.

Gate Staff Attendants ensure that the membership and their guests are greeted with a friendly demeanor, checked in on our website and directed to where to park in the club parking lot. In the event of overflow parking, Gate Staff Attendants are required to move member and guest vehicles to accommodate as many cars as possible within the parking lot. As well, Gate Staff Attendants should have knowledge of any club events and the club grounds to aid in directing members and their guests to their desired destination.

Responsibilities

• Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude as well as provide exceptional customer service
• Should be on time for their scheduled shift and be diligent and proactive in their responsibilities
• Checking in members and their guests on the club website into order to bill the membership
• Direct member and guest cars where to park in the lot in a friendly and patient manner
• In the event of overflow, Gate Staff Attendants are required to move vehicles to accommodate as many cars as possible
• Maintain the cleanliness of their workspace as well as the surrounding areas
• Have the flexibility to work, days, nights, weekends, and holidays (including the 4th of July weekend)
• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by the on-shift supervisor

Qualifications

• Proficient in navigating and using web-based platforms
• Driver’s License Required
• Ability to operate stick shift vehicles preferred but not required
• Must be at least 16 years of age
