MAU is hiring a Finance SAP Project User for our client in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. As a Finance SAP Project User, you will provide project management support and SAP system validation to ensure successful project delivery. This is a contract, long-term opportunity.

Shift Information- Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Required Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or IT.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management or business analysis.
Preferred Education and Experience- Experience in providing end-user training and support.
- Project management experience.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence).
General Requirements- Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in SAP financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset management.
- Familiarity with SAP reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Essential Functions- Collaborate with the finance team and subject matter experts to document business requirements and ensure SAP system configuration aligns with organizational needs.
- Participate in designing and implementing new SAP financial features or modules.
- Provide support to finance users on the effective use of SAP for financial management.
- Identify and report SAP financial module issues, working with the project team to resolve them.
- Assist in the implementation and rollout of new SAP financial functionalities.
- Serve as a point of contact for finance-related SAP inquiries and support.
- Execute comprehensive test cases to validate SAP financial modules' functionality, configurations, and integrations.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing on SAP financial systems.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing, collaborating with IT and development teams for resolution.
- Act as a liaison between subject matter experts and the IT department, ensuring effective communication of testing results and requirements.
- Support the development of training materials and sessions for finance end-users on SAP financial modules.
