Cybersecurity Operations Internship(remote)

Department: IT Security

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Position Overview:

The Cybersecurity Internship Program at Trulieve is designed to give current college students an opportunity to work alongside cyber leaders within Trulieve’s Information Security teams. Interns are recruited from the nation's IT/Cybersecurity undergraduate and graduate programs and will have the opportunity to apply concepts, protocols, and tools acquired through coursework in the real world by working with information security/cybersecurity experts. The 8 week internship will focus on IS/CSOC's mission areas and include identification and analysis of malicious code, incident handling, intrusion detection and prevention, endpoint protection, data management, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring security events, conducting vulnerability assessments, and supporting the implementation of security policies. 
• Participate in security audits, compliance reviews, and collaborate with IT to ensure best practices. 
• Assist with communication of weekly stats/KPIs to executive leadership. 
• Help develop security awareness training, investigate security breaches, and stay updated on the latest security threats. 

Qualification:

• Must be able to pass a level 2 background check
• Must be 21+ years of age

Salary will be commensurate with experience. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
