Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist patients with mobility and physical exercises as instructed by nursing staff.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and health status, reporting any changes to the nurse in charge.
• Help patients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Assist with daily activities and recreational activities to promote patient engagement.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including housekeeping duties as needed.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be a certified Nurse Aide in accordance with state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in healthcare is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to professional development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with various healthcare professionals.
• Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to accommodate various shift requirements.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role preferred but not mandatory.
