Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co., located at 6181 Sawmill Rd Unit B , is seeking a Barista to join our dynamic team. We want someone who is:
No previous barista experience is required —we will provide training. However, previous coffee or service experience is preferred .
Job description
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food and beverages
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food or as barista service industry is preferred
- Strong math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
