Spokane Transit is in the beginning of a dynamic 10-year plan called Connect 2035. The purpose of this plan is to maintain, improve, and expand transit services throughout Spokane County to meet the needs of our growing community. We are currently searching for a skilled Associate Building Maintenance Specialist with a wide range of experience to join our Facilities and Grounds maintenance team.
As an Associate Building Maintenance Specialist, you will perform semi-skilled maintenance and minor repair activities on Spokane Transit’s buildings, grounds, equipment, furnishings, and other transit facilities. You may also work on drywall installations, painting projects, vehicle washers, small engines, overhead doors, compressors, steam cleaners, environmental controls, plumbing fixtures, carpentry, and masonry. As you apply your wide range of knowledge and skills in repair and general facilities maintenance, you will assure that your team is able to successfully carry out STA’s preventative maintenance program.
