Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience and passion in using an evidenced-based approach to teaching foundational
literacy and math skills
• Excellent knowledge of child development, latest education theories and practices, and
current trends in education and professional development
• Background in anti-bias and anti-racist curriculum development, materials, and resources • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and cognitive development of first-grade students
• Ability to teach an integrated curriculum
